FAQ
How are your images created?
Every design starts as a hand-drawn master file in Procreate. Any quotes are added using Canva. I create for fun around mum life, and I'm keeping my prices affordable so everyone can enjoy the art.
Do you sell the master files?
Not yet, but maybe in the future! For now, you'll receive the finished, ready-to-use files.
What will I receive after purchase?
Instant digital downloads. Your files arrive by email straight after checkout, and you can also grab them from your order confirmation page. Nothing is posted to you.
Are the downloaded images watermarked?
No! The final files you download are completely watermark free.
Why are the images signed "Aiyannas Pixel Studio"?
All my artwork carries a small signature. I've chosen not to remove it because of how much digital art theft happens online. Thank you for understanding!
What file types are included?
High-resolution transparent PNGs, ready to drop into your design. Each listing tells you exactly what's in the zip.
What size and resolution are the files?
Every file is 300 DPI, so it stays crisp on mugs, tumblers, tees, prints and more.
Which licence do I get?
Every order includes a licence for personal use and small business use, which covers up to 250 finished products per clip art set. Larger businesses need a commercial licence, print on demand shops need a POD licence (these are for print on demand businesses only), and corporate companies and global brands have their own corporate and global licences. Full details and prices are in my Licensing Terms.
What counts as personal use?
Personal use means anything you make for yourself, your family or your friends that isn't sold. For example:
- Mugs, tumblers, tees and tote bags for yourself or as gifts
- Party decorations, invitations and banners for your own event
- Scrapbooks, planners, journals and cards
- Home décor and wall art for your own space
- Sharing a finished craft on social media (as long as you're not selling it)
If money changes hands, you'll need a small business licence or above.
What counts as small business use?
Small business use covers making physical products with the designs and selling them, such as handmade crafters and independent makers, up to 250 finished products per clip art set. See my Licensing Terms for full details.
What's a commercial licence?
Commercial licences are for larger businesses and higher volume sellers who need to go beyond the small business limit. There are three tiers per clip art set, covering up to 1,000, up to 5,000 or unlimited finished physical products, from £45 to £195. Email me at Aiyannaspixelstudio@outlook.com with the sets and tier you'd like, and I'll get you sorted.
What's a POD licence?
The POD licence is only for print on demand businesses, where a third party prints and ships your products to customers. If that's you, please pick this licence rather than the standard one. There are three tiers per clip art set, covering up to 1,000, up to 5,000 or unlimited sales, from £65 to £245. Your customers must not be able to edit the artwork.
What's a corporate licence?
The corporate licence is for corporate companies, agencies, retailers and organisations who want to use my artwork across one brand in one country or region. It covers unlimited products plus advertising, marketing and packaging use, and costs £495 per clip art set. Corporate licences are arranged by email, so get in touch and I'll send you a written licence.
What's a global licence?
The global licence is for global companies and international brands. It covers worldwide use across multiple brands, subsidiaries and regions of one corporate group, in all media, and costs £1,750 per clip art set. Want to cover every design in my shop? I offer whole shop licences by quote. Just get in touch.
What if I'm not sure which licence I need?
Just ask before you sell! Email me at Aiyannaspixelstudio@outlook.com with what you're making and where you'll sell it, and I'll tell you which licence fits. It's always easier to get it right before you start.
Do you check where my art is being sold?
Yes, I do check for my designs being sold elsewhere. When I find a product made with my art, I check it against my order records. Every licence is linked to the buyer's order, so I can see who bought the design, which licence they hold, and whether the seller matches the buyer. If a seller doesn't match a purchase, or sales look to go beyond what their licence allows, I'll be in touch.
What happens if the licence terms aren't followed, or the right licence isn't bought?
I'd much rather sort things out kindly, as many mix-ups are honest mistakes. This is what happens if the rules aren't followed:
- I'll contact you first. I'll ask you to buy the correct licence, or to stop selling the products made with my art.
- Listings can be taken down. If it isn't resolved, I'll ask the marketplace or website to remove the listings and report the seller's account.
- Your licence ends. Your licence stops immediately, with no refund.
- Legal action, as a last resort. My artwork is protected by copyright automatically under UK law (the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988). A court can order an injunction to stop the selling, and award damages or an account of profits, which means handing over the profits made from my art. Courts can also award additional damages where the infringement is flagrant, and costs.
What can't I do with the designs?
You can't resell, share or give away the original files (or edited versions of them). You also can't use them to create clip art, sticker packs or other digital products, and you can't claim the artwork as your own.
Do the designs work with Cricut, Silhouette and sublimation printers?
Yes! They're made with sublimation crafters and Cricut users in mind. For Cricut Design Space, upload the PNG and use "Print Then Cut" or your preferred method.
Will the colours look the same on my screen and printed?
Screens and printers show colour differently, and sublimation can shift things a little too, so a test print is always a good idea. Our files don't come with colour profiles, so they'll print at their best as long as your printer is set up correctly. If your first test looks off, check these before anything else:
- Paper type: Match the setting to the paper you're using (sublimation paper, photo paper, etc.).
- Print quality: Choose the highest quality setting.
- Colour management: Let either your printer or your design software manage colour, not both. If your ink or paper supplier gives you an ICC profile, use it.
- Enhancements: Turn off any automatic "colour boost" or "enhance" options.
- Size: Print at 100% or "actual size" so nothing gets resampled.
- Sublimation: Colours often look duller on the paper and come to life once pressed, so judge the colour on your finished item, not the printout.
Small test print first, then tweak. Most colour hiccups are fixed with a settings change, not a new file!
I haven't received my download. What now?
First check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there, email me at Aiyannaspixelstudio@outlook.com with your order number and I'll sort it as quickly as I can.
Do you offer refunds?
Because these are instant digital downloads, I can't offer refunds or exchanges once files are delivered. If there's a problem with your files, get in touch and I'll happily put it right.
Can I request a custom design?
Sometimes! Message me with what you have in mind and I'll let you know if it's something I can take on.
How do I contact you, and how quickly will you reply?
Email me at Aiyannaspixelstudio@outlook.com or use the contact form on the website. I'm a one-woman shop, so I reply to every message as soon as I can. During busy seasonal periods it may take a little longer, but I promise I'll get back to you!
